Working within the Procurement Team the Planner is responsible for creating and managing procurement schedules, materials planning and production planning in order to ensure design intent is realised in the manufacturing and construction processes.
The Planner will have a strong understanding of supply chain management and production planning concepts and will have the ability to step up responsibility as the business grows.

- Using inputs from other departments, in particular design, identify material requirements for each project.
- Create and control the Procurement Schedule as a key enabler for the buying team flagging up any risks throughout this process.
- Co-ordinate with other departments regarding manufacturing and construction goals, timelines etc ensuring that materials are scheduled in accordance with the masterplan.
- Own the short term (out to 6 months) manufacturing and capacity plan ensuring all projects are scheduled in accordance with factory/site capacity and business targets.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal parties as required.
- Manage inventory issues, schedule changes and ensure any required cancellations are carried out.
- Prepare performance reports and data collation as required.
- Be flexible and able to solve problems at pace as they occur.
